Too sad to cry

How much do you need love?
think of someone with nothing there
Think of how it feels inside
and someone who has no one to care
That happiness you feel
is like a void pressing against their skin
The moments that you share
are the tarnish to their tin
They walk each day
a smile brightly plastered on their face
and when they go home at night
they just sit there and wait
Doom is not a good friend
but he comes every night
to sit and talk
for a while
He brings some tea
and thoughts to entertain
like suicide
and cutting pain
and worthlessness
and everything
they do not have
He's like the MOB
he makes you feel good
It’s a comfort to see him
after a while
The loneliness
is just another mile
till it becomes too much
and that last touch of life
goes away
normal people
can’t see you giving up
they see nothing of the change
People who see
see anticipation
but they may not know why
Hearts that are kindred bow gentle
they are too sad to cry
